This holiday season, The Equitable Bank is spread our cheer by participating in the Giving Tree Program from United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County! This year, we are donated gifts to South Division High School in Milwaukee for youth in the community. We hope they enjoyed their presents!
October 2022: United Way
Our 2022 United Way Campaign at The Equitable Bank was a huge success thanks to our amazing employees, donors and community partners! This year we raised almost $21,000 by pledging and participating in activities. Throughout the week, we dressed up and had some fun for United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County.
September 2022: Gold in September
Our staff went gold for Gold in September! Part of Gold in September’s vision is coloring the world gold so every child everywhere survives cancer, and we are proud to support this cause. We encouraged everyone to wear gold during September to grow awareness, inspire action and continue the conversation for funding research for pediatric cancer.

As a part of the Wisconsin Bankers Association's Power of Community Week as well as to celebrate Earth Day, The Equitable Bank helped clean up the Milwaukee River with Milwaukee Riverkeeper.

This year, our theme was "2020: What did we miss?" and it gave our employees the opportunity to dress up and enjoy some moments they missed out on this year. Throughout the week, we dressed up, pledged and participated in activities in hopes of reaching our donation goal for United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County.

The Equitable Bank went Gold in September for the 9th year in a row! Throughout the month, our employees worked together to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer.
July 2021: GMAR Annual Golf Outing
Our team had a great time being the Hospitality Sponsor for the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors Annual Golf Outing again this year. We had a lot of fun in the sun providing snacks for everyone.
April 2021: WBA Power of Community Week
During the week of April 19th-24th, we participated in the fourth annual Wisconsin Bankers Association Power of Community Week to celebrate, support and give back to the communities we serve. With the help of our staff and customers, we collected over 1,500 products and $800 which went to organizations we partnered with through United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County.
The Equitable Bank is committed to supporting our customers and communities. Through our partnership with Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLB of Chicago), we provided $21,000 to Housing Resources Incorporated (HRI). These funds will go toward preparing people for successful home ownership with an emphasis on homebuyer education. We are proud to partner with FHLBC and look forward to the opportunities this will bring.

The Equitable Bank went Gold In September for the 8th year in a row! Throughout the month, we worked together to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer by handing out gold stickers and hosting other special events to support a great cause.
Our Hales Corners branch recently hosted a field trip for the Hales Corners Elementary first-graders. We hope they learned a lot and enjoyed their time. We had a lot of fun showing them around the bank!
This year, we were able to provide gifts for the House of Peace-Capuchin Community in Milwaukee. We always look forward to spreading the joy of the holiday season and giving back to our community.
Our 2019 United Way campaign at The Equitable Bank was a great success! Our "Movie" themed campaign had employees involved in pledging and various fun activities throughout the week in hopes of reaching our donation goal for United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County.
Our employees rocked #GOLD which is the recognized color for pediatric cancer. All month long, we are raising awareness and donations for childhood cancer research in support of Gold in September.
Equitable Bank branches collected cards and letters for Vietnam Veterans who were on the 2019 Fall Stars and Stripes Honor Flight. Thank you to our employees and customers for helping us honor our Vietnam veterans! Together we were able to create over 70 heartfelt thank you cards/letters!
The Equitable Bank is a proud sponsor of the 2019 Pet Walk Milwaukee. Pet Walk is one of the Wisconsin Humane Society's largest fundraisers with proceeds supporting animals in need and the programs and services that benefit the communities we serve. Event proceeds support all animals who receive lifesaving care at the Wisconsin Humane Society, including cats, dogs, small animals, birds, and wildlife!

The Equitable Bank employees always rally behind the Wisconsin Humane Society. In March they had the opportunity to work the phone bank at the Pet Telethon.
Equitable Bank employees have supported United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha Counties for many years and this year was no exception. We raised money while having fun with our international travel theme. Employees dressed up on themed days, participated in a raffle and auction, all while helping to make our community better.
Once again The Equitable Bank is helping #GrowGOLD and raise awareness about pediatric cancer. Our employees and customers are wearing gold ribbons, donating money and talking about the need for more research and funds for children battling cancer. We even had the first-ever Gold in September bags tournament.
We always have fun with Starch Madness! Raising money and collecting food for the Hunger Task Force, all while having fun voting for our favorite food.
Equitable employees had a blast working the phones at the National Puppy Day telethon (and playing with some of the adorable puppies), which supports the Wisconsin Humane Society!

Equitable employees raised over $19,700 for United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County during our annual employee giving campaign - beating last year's record and our third record breaking year in a row! Employees had a lot of fun with our "board game" theme and coming together to raise money for our community.
During the month of September, The Equitable Bank is helping #GrowGOLD and raise awareness about pediatric cancer. Our employees and customers are wearing gold ribbons, donating money and talking about the need for more research and funds for children battling cancer.
To commemorate The Equitable Bank’s 90 years serving the community, we held three volunteer events that totaled 99 hours of service for the month of May. We volunteered at the Finance Park for Junior Achievement Milwaukee, at a land stewardship project for the Urban Ecology Center – Washington Park and prepared over 400 sandwiches for Guest House of Milwaukee.
We were pleased to be able to participate in the COSBE’s Be the Spark program again this year. Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts were great guests and we hope they enjoyed their visit to our workplace as much as we enjoyed having them!

During our Annual Suits for Soldiers drive, Equitable Bank collected 190 complete suits, bringing the 4-year total to 950 suits and nearly 6,300 articles of clothing. All items are donated to Dryhootch for distribution to local veterans who are preparing to reenter the civilian workforce.
